David has been teaching my son guitar and we honestly couldn’t be happier with him. My son has had both in-person and online lessons with David and he always keeps him engaged. David is so patient and encouraging, and he has a great way of making the lessons enjoyable while still helping him properly improve. You can tell straight away that he’s very experienced and genuinely passionate about teaching guitar. He’s also really reliable and easy to communicate with, which makes everything so much easier as a parent. Most importantly, my son enjoys his lessons and is becoming more confident with his guitar, which is exactly what we wanted. We’d definitely recommend David to anyone looking for a guitar teacher, especially for kids. He’s a great teacher and clearly really cares about his students. David is a very approachable guitar teacher who is committed to his students getting what they want from their music. We have seen our son develop from a beginner under David's guidance into a musician who now picks up the guitar independently many times throughout the week and is able to play for the pure love of it. It has helped give him confidence to contribute to school and youth theatre rehearsals and productions and David's teaching has been a big contributor in our sons love of the performing arts. I got in touch with David in November 2023 having never played guitar before, with the perception i had that at the age of 32 it will be too late for me to learn, within less than a year i have been able to understand some of the theory side and have learnt at a good pace. Love my lessons with David.  I've gone from a complete novice to passing 3 grades and now working on my next grade.  I've learnt so many techniques and skills, but most of all it's so relaxing to learn to play.  I've even performed live at David's student concerts!  Highly recommended
